Hi.
My name in Second Life is Kalia Pawtato, though you may have known me as Kalia Firelyte before I changed it on a whim to something that felt more fitting.
I'm likely the person you think of first when someone mentions Jian or Jian Pets.
I want to thank you for whatever support you've shown Jian in the past, for including my work in any part of your life for any amount of time and hopefully enjoying it while doing so. I hope it somehow comforted you, entertained you, reminded you of or gave you a friend. If you spent any amount of time with something I made involved in your internet life, thank you. I hope you enjoyed it and find a way to enjoy it in the future again somehow, too, maybe.
I also wanted to offer a fond, long time coming farewell as I step away from Second Life and Jian to take new chances, make new mistakes and make fun messes in new places.
Second Life has for the past 20+ years been a major part of my real life. Professionally, it's where I got my start all those years ago and continued to iterate in what I did, with who and how as I learned and grew day by day. I've made mistakes (who hasn't?) and some masterpieces in my not so humble opinion. I'm grateful for every moment; even the frustrating, scary and upsetting moments that taught me valuable lessons. I'm grateful for all the people I've met who also all carried lessons I'll take with me into the future.
YOU: What about Jian and my products?
Everything you've bought will remain in your inventory, of course. You'll still be able to enjoy your animals and Jian products same as always if you choose to. For now, the Jian region will close and a new location where you can access the redelivery terminal and your past purchases if you need them resent. All of jiansl.resident's picks will lead to this location going forward and I will host it for as long as it is financially viable to do so.

For the past four years I've been working on Roblox and a couple other platforms both for myself and others. My life has changed over the years and so have my interests. It is a natural evolution of my professional trajectory to move to new places where I hope to develop new, fun things.
